Now You See Me Movie

Now You See Me MovieSummit Entertainment has greenlit Now You See Me, an upcoming crime thriller movie based on a script by Boaz Yakin and Edward Ricourt. The film will be directed by French filmmaker Louis Leterrier. The cast hasn't been announced yet, but according to the rumor Jesse Eisenberg and Jake Gyllenhaal have been offered roles. There's no official release date yet, IMDb is listing the project for a release in 2014 though.

Plot:
"The project is described as a thriller that pits a crack FBI squad in a game of cat-and-mouse against a super-team of the world's greatest illusionists, who pull off a series of daring bank heists during their performances, showering the profits on their audiences while staying one step ahead of the law."

A heist movie involving magicians? Is it the carnival of crime? The premise may kind of sounds a bit far-fetched, but I'm curious to see how the movie Now You See Me will turn out. Well I guess we should wait for the full cast to be announced to get a better idea of what to expect.

Anyway, more information about the movie Now You See Me as soon as details emerge.
:)

Update - Actor Jake Gyllenhaal left the project but Eisenberg is still on board.
